BACON CARAMELIZED ONION SAUSAGE SANDOS WITH GIARDINIERA TOPPER
Bacon Caramelized Onion Sausage Sandos with a Giardiniera Topper
INGREDIENTS:
4 links bacon caramelized onion sausages
brioche buns
1 tbsp giardiniera sauce (our fave is at the shop)
1 roma tomato, thinly sliced
celery seeds
salt & pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Grill the sausages on a charcoal grill over indirect heat for about 8-10 minutes. Right before it’s done, throw the links over direct heat for 2-4 minutes just to crisp up the casing. To serve: build your sausage sandwiches using your brioche buns (no prep necessary here). Add a tablespoon of giardiniera and sliced roma tomatoes (which you should def season with salt and pepper). Garnish with a sprinkle of celery seeds for some texture.
Serve with a side of TWO pasta salad. It’s the best.
