PAN-SEARed SIRLOIN TIPS WITH ORZO SALAD

PAN-SEARED SIRLOIN TIPS

1 tablespoon canola oil
2 lbs sirloin tips

INSTRUCTIONS:

Grab a large frying pan and set it to high heat on your stove. Add your canola oil and wait until it begins to shimmer. Sear the meat on all sides for about 4 minutes. Remove from the pan and let rest for a few minutes.

ORZO PASTA SALAD

INGREDIENTS:


1 bag orzo pasta
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 jar pitted kalamata olives, sliced
1 basket cherry tomato, cut in half
1/2 small container feta cheese crumbles 1 red bell peppers, large diced
1 green bell pepper, large diced
2 lemons, juiced and zested
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp crush red peppers

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cook the orzo in salted water and 2 tablespoons of evoo. Transfer the cooked orzo to a large bowl, add all the ingredients and stir to combine.
